The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
I'm tempted to use some of the nasty language from the book to describe what I think, but I'll rise above. With a befuddling structure, long and pointless descriptions, a confusing setting, spiralling plots and a general excess of torture, what was there left to like? I dragged myself through it.
