The Ship Beyond Time by Heidi Heilig
It's not that a sequel to this series wasn't welcome, but just not this sequel. I was bewildered by characters' choices and the plot is heavily bogged down by philosophical questions. We revisit the themes of love and loss, and I personally would've preferred something new.
