Circe by Madeline Miller
The scale is enormous, while the sense of imprisonment grows. The story is engaging, heart-breaking and relatable despite being centred around gods, demi-gods and myths. It wrung me out, but I loved it.
The audiobook, read by Perdita Weeks is perfection.
