I'm in awe of how Margaret Owen weaves deep truths through her stories - whether it's about self-worth, intimacy, betrayal or injustice - it's always so much more than a story. The way she develops characters - their motivations, fears, convictions and beliefs is magnificent. (Her artwork is stunning as well.)

This book is worth every drop of Owen's blood, sweat and tears and I can't wait for the next one!
