The backdrop of a gang family is very well done, the atmosphere of violence and love mingled and contrasted beautifully. I liked the characters (especially Ezra and Henrik), though there are some obvious similarities to Fable - the writer loves to hate beautiful 'frocks'. I just wished Bryn had schemed a little more and cried a little less.
