Stormseed by Isabell Gebhardt

A solid story with classic fantasy elements and good worldbuilding. Its strength is probably the range of interesting characters to empathise with, and the fact that it doesn't do anything too wacky. I'm impressed with the translation - at no point did the language sound clunky!P.S. I hope Stormseed will be followed by other books as the story is only just beginning, but we'll see.
