JE Nov'23 "Unputdownable!" [43]

The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni

I couldn't put this book down! My heart sank slightly when I read the dedication to Sarah J. Maas as I haven't enjoyed Maas's books, but I was blown away when I started to read Noni's story. It jumps straight into the action and doesn't let up until the end. There's a great setting, which also serves as a conflict, as well as many brilliantly intertwined plot threads - when you're not worrying about one problem, you're fixated on another. I'm envious of Noni's skill!

Followed by The Gilded Cage and The Blood Traitor

P.S. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate a ML who is just genuinely nice, friendly and open?
