Dark Tomorrow by Helen Harper
The grand finale - kind of. The final case tries to tie everything together, but I felt it could have been better considering there was a totally new societal backdrop to make use of. I enjoyed seeing a bit of role reversal and new teams forming, but I found the ending unconvincing. (And I was never afraid of X)
