I could appreciate the structure, complex characters and beautiful writing even though I didn't particularly enjoy the story. The pieces fitted together fairly neatly, but the book's air of tragedy made it hard for me to like it. Think grey morality, backstabbing and instalove. (It's so much better than Amber & Dusk, though!)

Followed by other unfinished books.
