A Tale of Stars and Shadow by Lisa Cassidy
The creation of Talyn's team was really heartwarming. The characters and their quirks were great, but there wasn't a clear path through the book - which made it feel nebulous rather than purposeful. The plot doesn't really go anywhere... Our viewpoint characters came no closer to knowing each other by the end of the book which was frustrating.
