Our drooling heroine is back and... it's more of the same. Sex-tinted glasses, gross supernatural beings, unprofessionalism, a convoluted plot and a strange band of misfits. Marnie still frustrates me. She barely has a shred of professionalism which is intended - "brat life" - but it wears on me, and the supernatural beings in this book are even more disgusting.
