Bow Before the Elf Queen by J. M. Kearl

I'm sensing a theme here... Heroine (who is incredibly talented at fighting. Again) is bound by soulmate magic to amazingly strong, handsome elf prince (who is devoted to her). Maybe I'm stuck in an algorithm, but recent reading has been pretty repetitive. I kind of liked the atmosphere, but found myself either predicting plot points or rolling my eyes. Yep, it's another one.

Followed by Long Live the Elf Queen and... (I think it's going to be a long journey and I may well fall off the bandwagon)

And it is me, or are these similar books written with a very similar names? S. M. Gaither, S. G. Prince, J. M. Kearl - we know you're all women so you can drop the initials! Men would never write lines like "You're the most perfect thing I've ever seen, your scars make you more beautiful and I'll love you into eternity..." Gah! Read Painted Devils. That's how you do interesting, meaningful relationships.
