Path of a Novice by R. K. Lander
The style and setting of this series reminds me of Tolkien (not only in its complex elven history!). It's an honour-filled story about a 'half-breed' elf and those who recognise the good in him. Very slow start, but it builds an atmosphere - a soothing listen.
