Blood & Steel by Helen Scheuerer

I forget the number of times our heroine's "knees buckle", but it was still a good story. I enjoyed the friendships, which were fleshed out more than typical romantasy. I also appreciated that Thea has a fairly realistic progression rate in her training. I'll stick around for the next book - despite the nonsensical world history and repetitive style.
